Job Opening: Senior Salesforce Administrator (in Richmond, VA or Washington, DC)


Morton Consulting has a Contract to Hire or Direct Hire (candidate's preference) in Richmond, VA or Washington, DC (candidate's preference) for a Senior Salesforce Administrator. Client is offering RELOCATION EXPENSES. The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting the configuration, design, development and continued operations of the Salesforce platform across the organization. The Salesforce Administrator is also responsible for driving continuous improvements of the Salesforce platform and supporting the organization by instituting appropriate security, identifying new functionality, and driving automation to increase efficiency in business processes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working within standardized SDLC practices
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator for Enterprise edition or higher
  • Experience or knowledge with NGO Connect, formerly roundCause a plus
  • Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective
  • Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and external implementation partners to design, configuration, and build of Salesforce applications
  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades.
  • Manage security settings
  • Manage new user setup and deactivation, including transferring ownership of accounts, contacts, and opportunities for deactivated users.
  • Executes all configuration changes
  • Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation and system triggers
  • Data cleansing and import of large volumes of data
  • Executes new functionality rollouts
  • Ensure data integrity through the appropriate use of de-duping and data loading tools for bulk imports of data
  • Maintain and support custom objects, fields, applications, etc.
  • Maintains system documentation
  • Maintain and communicate system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity
