Link A Contact to Multiple Accounts in Salesforce (Summer '16)

In some businesses and industries it is common (if not imperative) to link one contact with multiple accounts.

For example, one of my clients in the life sciences vertical, works with lab scientists as the end users of their products.

One lab scientist could be working simultaneously for multiple labs (or accounts).

Another example would be a non-profit client of mine that works with teachers and professionals who are coaching teachers and school administrators.

Very often teachers work in the mornings in one school, and teach in the afternoon or evening in another school.

Until now, managing these relationships in Salesforce was a bit tricky, as contacts could only be related to one least without doing some creative workarounds (of which I have identified many).

Thankfully, the Summer '16 release will include some neat functionality allowing us to manage and track these relationships natively.
