How to Manually Share an Account in Salesforce Classic


If your Salesforce instance is configured where each team member has specific records that they are permitted to see, inevitably you will encounter a scenario where another colleague will require access to some account that are not otherwise visible to them.

How can you solve for this scenario?

Thankfully, Salesforce provides the ability for any record owner to manually expand the visibility access to records that they own.
